Pennar sales up 26% at Rs 127.8 cr

Hyderabad, Oct. 25

Pennar Industries Ltd has recorded sales income of Rs 127.88 crore and profit of Rs 7.82 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, against income of Rs 116.5 crore and profit of Rs 6.19 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. This reflects a growth of 26 per cent income. The company management in a statement attributed this to increase in sales of value added products such as rail coach sections and electrostatic precipitator components.
