Rangu is Tejas new President

Bangalore, Oct. 25

Bangalore-based optical networking products maker Tejas Networks has appointed Mr Rangnath “Rangu” Salgame as its new President. He was previously President - Global Projects at Cisco Systems and, prior to that, President - Cisco India, South Asia & South East Asia. “With its established products, R&D innovation expertise, and proven manufacturing supply chain, Tejas has built a platform with the potential to make it India’s first global product company. I am excited to be part of a world class team, backed by blue chip investors, to lead Tejas through this exciting growth phase,” he said in a release. The company had recently appointed Mr Siva Ramamoorthy as Group Director - Marketing. He was previously Director of Sales & Marketing at Intel, Nortel and Netscape Communications. —
