Horticulture: Plan for upgrading research centres

Tiruchi, Oct 28 The Indian Council of Agricultural Research is examining a proposal to upgrade the national research centres on horticulture crops as project directorates, said Mr H.P. Singh, Deputy Directorate General (Horticulture), ICAR. This would include the National Research Centre for Banana in Tiruchi and a review team has recommended its upgradation.
