Muthoot Capital to sell insurance

Kochi, Oct. 28

The private life insurance player, HDFC Standard Life, has appointed Muthoot Capital Services Ltd as their corporate agent. As a part of this association, Muthoot Capital will be using the groups' strong base of 600,000 customers to distribute HDFC Standard Life's life insurance and pension products in Kerala and later in other States in a phased manner. Mr John Thomas Muthoot, Chairman, Muthoot Pappachen Group said the company is working on innovative ways to take life insurance to the masses.
