PSU Bank BEES makes debut

Mumbai, Nov. 1 PSU Bank Benchmark Exchange Traded Scheme (PSU Bank BEES), an open-ended scheme which is an Index tracking the CNX PSU Bank Index, on Thursday made its debut on the NSE. It opened at Rs 310, touching a high of Rs 332 during the day. It ended at Rs 280.95. A total of 10298 shares were traded, making a total turnover of Rs 30.24 lakh.

The PSU banks linked to the index include, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, SBI, IDBI, Union Bank of India etc. The objective of this scheme is to provide returns that closely correspond to the total returns of securities as represented by the CNX PSU Bank Index.
