Training in diamond grading

Hyderabad, Nov. 1

MSME Development Institute is organising a skill development training programme in diamond grading, testing and appraisal between October 29 and November 3. The programme will impart theoretical and practical knowledge in grading, testing and appraisal of both rough and polished diamonds by various techniques besides creating awareness on diamond trade and scope of diamond grading as a career opportunity, according to a release. With domestic trade and exports growing by at least 18 per cent per annum, the work force needs of Indian diamond and jewellery industry are bound to increase.
