Telecommunications Marketing - New Products & Services States - Tamil Nadu BSNL launches night speak facility Our Correspondent Madurai, Nov 2 Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has introduced a promotional offer of night speak facility for its mobile subscribers. The offer is valid for 90 days, from November 1, 2007 to January 29, 2008. Subscribers can make the call between 11 pm and 7 am at a 50 per cent charge of their respective plans to the respective BSNL network of Tamil Nadu and other States. The offer comes with enhanced talk value on recharge and top-up coupons. New combo plans have also been introduced in broadband services, namely, ‘Home 500 C’ and ‘Home 500 C Plus’ with a monthly rental of Rs 500 and Rs 600 with monthly free calls of Rs 175 and Rs 50 respectively. Subscribers are provided a free down load of 1.5 GB and 2.5 GB and unlimited free download during night hours. There will be no separate rental for the telephone connections. Also, a new Excel Sumo prepaid card with one year validity has been introduced at a cost of Rs 249 with a talk value of Rs 30. The card enjoys 365 free local SMS within a year. For the landline phones, the installation charges of Rs 500 have been waived in Madurai, Theni and Dindigul districts between November 1 and January 29 next. For bookings made during the period, the customers can pay the deposit of Rs 500 in five equal monthly instalments.
