Mumbai, Nov. 5

SET has acquired the exclusive World Satellite rights of the five blockbuster movies from Yash Raj Films. The line up from the Yash Raj Films stable this year includes Chak De India, Tara Rum Pum, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, the recently released Laaga Chunari Main Daag and the comeback film of Madhuri Dixit Aaja Nachle. Commenting on the acquisition, Mr Kunal Dasgupta, CEO, SET India P vt Ltd, says: “Yash Raj Films has been on the forefront of the entertainment industry for the last five decades. The acquisitions underline the fact that we believe in bringing only the biggest and the best of entertainment to our viewers. This also reaffirms the strong relationship we share with eminent producer-director Mr Yash Chopra since well over a decade”. Says Mr Yash Chopra: “I have shared an excellent relationship with SET over the last 11 years and in continuation of that association we have finalised the five film deal with SET. We are happy to showcase these films on SET which provides a great platform for the television premiere of the films.”
