Software Industry & Economy - SSI Intelligroup eyes enterprise telecom space Our Bureau Hyderabad, Nov. 6 IT services provider Intelligroup plans to address the enterprise telecom solution space which has turned into a big market opportunity. Most of the large enterprises invest significant amount in telecommunications and are looking at optimising their investments. The company plans to offer optimisation services through a framework and in partnership with some select service providers. It has over 300 active customers. Highlighting the new areas and market issues, the Senior Vice-President of Global Marketing and Alliances, Intelligroup, Mr Alok Pant, said that the enterprise technology market continues to be buoyant where companies are investing either in SAP or Oracle replacing hybrid systems. This is more so in the Indian context where enterprises are now going global. Indian enterprises are investing significantly in technology either directly or by opting for hosted applications through software as a service (SAAS) model, which fits well for small and medium sized companies.
