CII award for JSW Steel

Bangalore, Nov. 10 JSW Steel Ltd, Vijayanagar Works, has bagged the ‘Commendation Certificate’ for significant achievement for the third time in a row, during the 15th quality summit organised by CII-Institute of Quality held in Bangalore recently. Instituted jointly by CII & Export Import Bank of India in 1994, the award highlights the “Achievement of business excellence as a noteworthy element of organisational competitiveness.” JSW Steel Ltd, Vijayanagar Works, is on a massive expansion surge and will become a seven-million tpa plant by 2008 and a 10-million tpa plant in 2010. —
