Visakhapatnam, Nov. 16 SriLankan Airlines inaugurated its ticketing office here on Friday and “the airways on its part is ready to operate flights from Visakhapatnam airport, if the facilities are made ready,” according to Ms Asha Kumar, Sales Manager.

She said at a press meet here on Friday that “Visakhapatnam is an important market for us and we want to provide special packages.” She said the airline is operating flights daily from Hyderabad to Sri Lanka.

She said the airlines was the only international carrier with nearly a hundred flights out of India every week. “We are operating flights from 11 cities, the latest addition being Coimbatore,” she added.
