PepsiCo appoints Vivek Bharati

New Delhi, Nov. 19

PepsiCo India Holdings Pvt Ltd on Monday announced that Mr Vivek Bharati, economist and external affairs expert, would take over from Mr Abhiram Seth as the Executive Director, External Affairs and Exports from February onwards. Though Mr Bharati has already joined PepsiCo India, he will officially take over the post only after Mr Seth retires in February. Mr Seth, who has led the External Affairs and Exports functions since 2002, is retiring as the Executive Director afte r serving the company for about 15 years. PepsiCo India, under Mr Seth created backward linkages with farmers for sourcing raw materials for processing and the company’s contract farming model.
