Bates David bags Chik, Meera accounts

Chennai, Nov. 19 Bates David Enterprise, Chennai, will handle the creative part of the advertising for CavinKare’s Chik and Meera brands.

“We had decided to look for a fresh perspective on these two brands and there was a four-way pitch which was won by them,” CavinKare Executive Director, Mr Ramesh Viswanathan, said in a press release.

“O&M, our existing agency on these two brands, would continue to handle the foods business which holds significant growth opportunity for CavinKare.”

Chik is the second largest selling shampoo in the country and Meera, a market leader in the ethnic hair care segment, the press release said.
