Indian investment welcome: London Mayor

London is not only keen to
promote more Indian investments
into the United Kingdom
but is also willing to
provide all the assistance that
Delhi requires for hosting the
Commonwealth Games, the
Mayor, Mr Ken Livingstone,
said on Monday.
Addressing the media, Mr
Livingstone said that unlike
the United States, Britain did
not want to create barriers to
foreign investment. "We
would be quite happy to see
Indian companies comes to
Britain make inward investments
and take over companies,"
Mr Livingstone said.
The Mayor added that London
was willing to help Delhi
host the Commonwealth and
also bid for the Olympics
Games.
