Angel Broking to vend Birla Sun products

Mumbai, Nov. 20 Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd has entered into a distribution alliance with Angel Broking.

The broking firm will sell Birla Sun Life’s Insurance Plans as its corporate agent, through its network of more than 100 branches and 3,500 business associates.

Angel Broking currently has around 3 lakh retail customers. Through this exclusive arrangement, Birla Sun Life envisages that Angel Broking will augment its distribution reach significantly and also bring its vast retail sales experience to generate significant volumes for the company. A press release quoting, Mr Vikram Mehmi, President and CEO, BSLI, said: “As a part of BSLI’s expansion plans for the year, we intend strengthening our distribution arms through intermediaries.”
