South Central Rly freight loadings at 38.87 mt

The South Central Railway (SCR) has registered a originating freight loading of 38.87 million tonnes up to October , as against 32.97 mt in the same period last year, showing a growth of 18 per cent.

The apportioned earnings for the zone during the period was put at Rs 3,649.40 crore as against Rs 3,233.33 crore earned last year, registering a growth of Rs 13 per cent.

According to an SCR press release, the zone achieved the highest punctuality rate of 98.1 per cent during the period.
