Wipro signs pact with BAE Systems

Bangalore, Nov. 29

Wipro Technologies today announced that it has signed an agreement to work with BAE Systems on commercial aerospace projects. Under the agreement, both the companies will establish a technical development centre in India to work on projects covering a range of systems for BAE Systems Platform Solutions. Wipro’s product engineering service offerings in aerospace and defence address Avionics, Systems Design, Satellite Navigation, Embedded Computing Systems, Communicati on Systems, Mechanical Engineering, PLM and Technical Publications. BAE Systems’ programmes will benefit through a rich engineering talent pool, access to new markets and flexible business models that will enable the company to deliver high performance to end customers, said a company release. —
