CESC prices QIP offering at Rs 618

Kolkata, Dec. 10

CESC Ltd’s QIP offering of equity shares of Rs 10 each aggregating $150 million has been priced at Rs 618 per share. According to a press release issued by the company here, the QIP issue opened on December 4, and was priced on December 8. CESC has raised $150 million through the QIP, placing 95,60,000 at a price of Rs 618 per share. The QIP issue has been priced at 1.3 per cent premium to the average closing price of the past 15 trading sessions. CLSA India, Citigro up and Kotak Mahindra acted as joint global co-ordinators and joint book running lead managers for the offering. The offering of 95,60,000 equity shares represents approximately 7.65 per cent of the post-offer equity capital of the company. These shares will be listed on the Calcutta Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange, according to the release.
