Cognizant enters pact with CSAA

Chennai, Dec. 11

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, a US-based IT and business process outsourcing service provider, has announced a multi-year relationship with California State Automobile Association (CSAA) to provide a range of IT services. This includes business consulting, ‘specialised software’, service implementation and support services. Cognizant did neither provide the value of the deal nor the number of people to be deployed for the client. “The client does not want us to reveal these details,” according to a company spokesperson. The services for CSAA will be delivered from multiple locations, including Cognizant’s development centres in India, and at client’s locations in the US. CSAA offers a wide array of automotive, travel, insurance, financial services and consumer discounts to more than four million members in Northern California, Nevada and Utah, according to a press release issued by Cognizant. —
