Hansgrohe sets up Indian arm

Bangalore, Dec. 17

Hansgrohe, which specialises in showers, bathroom and kitchen fittings, has set up a subsidiary in India. The office will be based out of Pune. The Indian subsidiary will be involved in providing technical and marketing support and training, said Mr Nicholas Matten, Deputy Board Member, Hansgrohe. Mr Matten will also be the Managing Director of the Indian unit. The German company has already been active in India since 1999 through its association with Jaquar & Co. Hans grohe products are showcased in India through the 22 ‘orientation’ centres of Jaquar. They are sold through the top 100 dealers of Jaquar in India. Hansgrohe, a €569-million company, is present in about 180 countries, including 28 own subsidiaries.
