`Certificate of Merit' for MRPL
Mangalore, Dec 18
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd has won
the `Certificate of Merit' from Karnataka
Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL) for 2006-
07.
A press release by MRPL said here on Tuesday that
this award has come second time in succession for
MRPL's lowest specific energy consumption figures,
various energy conservation measures implemented
during the last three years, and its organisational set-up
and commitment towards energy conservation.
Mr K. Ravishankara, Deputy Manager, MRPL, collected the
certificate and trophy on behalf of MRPL from Mr R.K.
Hegde, Additional Director of Central Power Research
