Tata Tea, Arsenal tie up

Kolkata, Dec 18

Tata Tea Ltd on Tuesday announced Tata Tea Arsenal Soccer Stars, a football tournament and coaching programme, in association with Arsenal FC,UK, according to a press release. The programme, targeted at children in the 10-15 age group, will offer participants access to a top-class training programme, including the customised Arsenal development programme called The Arsenal Way.

The tournament will be held in phases across the four zones. Finally, 15 boys will be selected for an Arsenal training programme in the UK. They will also get an opportunity to witness the Arsenal International Soccer Festival in London in August next. The tournament will kick off with the south zone matches, to be held in Bangalore and Kozhikode between January 12 and 20, the press release adds. - Our Bureau
