Life Insurance States - Karnataka Bajaj Allianz opens hub centre Mangalore, Dec. 20 Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company has opened a hub centre exclusively for a regional rural bank, at Dharwad. Quoting the Chairman of the Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank (KVGB), Mr M Dhananjaya, a bank release said here on Thursday that a hub centre exclusively for a regional rural bank is the first of its kind in the country. The Dharwad-headquartered KVGB is a regional rural bank sponsored by Syndicate Bank. Inaugurating the centre at Dharwad on Wednesday, Mr Dhananjaya said that various policies of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company will be available in the shortest time at the branches of KVGB. KVGB was committed to rural development, he said. Mr I.T. Sethuraman, General Manager of KVGB, said the opening of hub centre was expected to speed up the disposal of proposals. The bank had already brought 20,000 people under the insurance fold, he added.
