IDBI Fortis Life gets IRDA nod

Hyderabad, Dec 20

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has issued certificate of registration to IDBI Fortis Life Insurance Co Ltd, a joint venture life insurance company promoted by IDBI, Federal Bank, India and Fortis Insurance International, Netherlands. With this registration, the total number of life insurers registered with the Authority has gone up to 18, according to an IRDA notification. - Our Bureau
