NITK global alumni convention

Mangalore, Dec 25

The fourth global convention of NITK (National Institute of Technology Karnataka) alumni will be held at Surathkal near Mangalore on December 29 and 30. A press release by the NITK Alumni Association said here on Tuesday that the theme of the convention is `Role of alumni in institution building'. Dr A.R. Upadhya, Director of National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, will inaugurate the convention. Mr M.D. Mallya, Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra; Mr Ashok Kheni, Managing Director of Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises Ltd; and Prof Sandeep Sancheti, Director of NITK, are likely to attend the convention, held once in three years. - Our Bureau
