Soft skills training package

Bangalore, Dec. 27

Metis ERC India, the training division of R&M Associates, a Bangalore-based HR consulting firm, has launched Mcube, a talent enhancement programme for graduates. Mcube offers a two-and-a-half-month open programme for fresh graduates aimed at meeting the needs of the industry by enhancing soft skills of resource available and converting it into employable talent. Mcube training programmes focus on three verticals — technical, non-technical (HR and administration) and retail sectors. The course curriculum includes modules on building life skills, interview-facing skills, organisational skills, business communication, business etiquette and business English. Mr Rajesh Athihalli, Director, Metis India, said that the target is to train 3,000 students by December 2008 through Mcube. Metis has already launched a training centre in Mysore and Mangalore and will soon launch centres in Hubli and Bangalore.
