Airtel on wheels launched

Kochi, Dec. 27

Bharti Airtel is coming up with pioneering idea of setting up coin operated Public Call Office in private buses in Kochi city. The new facility will provide a place for Airtel PCO in Kochi's red line buses, making it easy to access for the common people. The PCO will be placed just behind the driver seat. Launching the new facility called `Airtel on Wheels', the Ernakulam District Collector, Mr A.P.M. Mohammed Haneesh, said that the new facility would help bus operators to earn some extra income. As the PCO on wheels has incoming facility, it would act as a positioning system for the buses as well as the travellers, he said. - Our Bureau
