Panel set up to review rubber exports

Kottayam, Dec. 28 A sub committee has been constituted by the Rubber Board to review the progress of rubber export and supervise the steps to enhance the export.

The decision was taken at a meeting of exporters convened by the Rubber Board Chairman, Mr Sajen Peter, at the board’s headquarters on Friday.

Mr. P. Achutankutty, Managing Director, Periyar Latex, is the convener.

The committee will meet once in a fortnight till march 2008 to review the developments. Efforts will be made to export sheet and block rubber besides latex.
