RRBs on two-day strike

Hyderabad, Jan. 9

The officers and employees of 1,200 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in the State will go on a two-day strike from January 10. The strike was in response to a nationwide strike call given by the Joint Forum of Grameen Bank Unions (JFGBU) pension, parity with sponsor banks in allowances and benefits and continuation of compassionate appointment schemes, among others, according to a release.
