Medical centres for pilots

New Delhi, Jan. 9

In a move that would reduce the waiting time for aspiring pilots to undergo a medical examination, the Government on Wednesday approved Max Health Care Institute in the Capital, Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital in Bombay and Apollo Hospital in Chennai for conducting the initial medical examinations for flight crew. At the moment, the Air Force Medical centres at Delhi, Bangalore and Jorhat are authorised to conduct these medical examinations.
