Apollo Sindhoori’s second interim

Chennai, Jan. 13

Apollo Sindhoori Capital Investments Ltd, a group company of Apollo Hospitals, has declared a second interim dividend of 30 per cent for 2007-08. Earlier, it declared the first interim of 40 per cent. The company’s income from operations stood at Rs 41.99 crore, up from Rs 17.11 crore in the correspondent period of last year. The profit after tax went up by 216 per cent to Rs 9.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 against Rs 3.03 crore for the same quarte r last year. According to a press release from the company, it has obtained an in-principle approval for portfolio management services and is expected to commence the business soon.
