Puravankara announces project in Chennai

Chennai, Jan. 14 Puravankara Projects Ltd has announced a Rs 1,200-crore residential project in Chennai.

According to information to the stock exchange, the project, Purva Windermere, to come up at Pallikaranai, a southern suburb of Chennai, will be spread over 54 acres with 2,072 units of two and three-bedroom apartments.

The company has said that the project will be within 5 km of Guindy, Old Mahabalipuram Road and the airport. Being close to developing parts of the city, residents of Purva Windermere will have access to educational institutions, hospitals and shopping facilities.

The release, which quoted Puravankara’s Managing Director, Mr Ravi Puravankara, said the project would target those wanting to live in a ‘lavish and peaceful’ style. Facilities available at Purva Windermere would include a clubhouse, squash court, indoor games, gymnasium and swimming pool apart from super markets, restaurants, landscape gardens and children’s play area.
