TVS-E revenues down 32%

Chennai, Jan. 14

TVS Electronics has reported revenues of Rs 51.89 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, down 32.16 per cent compared to revenues generated during the same quarter last fiscal. A company press release said the two figures were incomparable as the company had hived off its contract manufacturing business to INCAP and transferred its services business into a separate company during the current year.

The company reported a net loss of Rs 68 lakh compared with a net profit of Rs 1.74 crore in corresponding period last year. - Our Bureau
