Global meet on shipbuilding in April

Kochi, Jan. 16 Having completed its first year of successful operations, the 24-hour free-to-air global maritime television channel Marine BizTV has announced the first International Conference on Ship Building and Conversion Technology along with the 10th anniversary of Aries Marine to be held here on April 29-30.

Announcing the event, Mr Sohan Roy, CEO of Marine BizTV and Managing Director of Aries Marine, said that the prestigious maritime video awards would also be presented at the same venue.

The two-day conference-cum-awards will feature 20 international paper presentations by distinguished personalities in logistics and shipbuilding fields and over 200 delegates from the worldwide maritime community are expected to participate. The conference is expected to throw light on topics such as demand and future of shipbuilding around the world, infrastructure development of shipbuilding industry, new trends in shipbuilding, repair and conversions, ship financing and rules and guidelines for new shipbuilding.
