Focus on product mix boosts Rallis Q3 net 61%

Mumbai, Jan 17 Agrochemical player Rallis India, a Tata group company, has reported a 61 per cent growth in its net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 to touch Rs 14.02 crore against Rs 8.70 crore in the year-ago period.

During the quarter, the company’s income from operations stood at Rs 183.14 crore (Rs 172.19 crore). The income from operations during the nine-month period crossed Rs 605 crore, about eight per cent higher than that during the first nine months of last fiscal.

Mr V. Shankar, CEO and Executive Director of the company, said its focus on improving the product mix had been beneficial. “Our value creation programme DISHA and focus on international business had also been big contributors,” he said.
