S. Kumars Q3 net up 72.23%

Mumbai, Jan. 17

S. Kumars Nationwide Ltd posted a 72.23 per cent jump in its third quarter net profit to Rs 57.20 crore compared to Rs 33.21 crore, in the corresponding quarter of last year. “The company would maintain its growth momentum through continued thrust on its existing businesses. Our concentration on the domestic market has permitted us to expand market share and more importantly protect margins,” said Mr Nitin S. Kasliwal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director. Net sales rose 44.13 per cent for the quarter ending December 31 to Rs 453 crore (Rs 314.29 crore). The total income increased 44.39 per cent to Rs 454.64 crore (Rs 314.86 crore). On Thursday, the company’s scrip closed at Rs 152.15, down 0.29 per cent (Rs 152.60).
