Software Info-Tech - Financial Performance KPIT Cummins' revenue up Pune, Jan. 18 KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd has registered a revenue of Rs 151.17 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal. This is 29.09 per cent increase over the corresponding period last year. Mr Ravi Pandit, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, has stated that the company has filed for a second patent. He noted that the Centre for Research in Engineering Sciences and Technology (CREST) has filed its second patent during the third quarter. The first patent filed during the second quarter was related to microprocessor obsolescence, while the second one is related to reducing hardware for multiplier in digital signal processing. Commenting on the quarter results, he noted that, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 14.13 crore and profits grew 2.97 per cent over the corresponding period last year and an increase of 0.41 per cent over the previous quarter. Total revenue for the quarter, grew by 29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 151.17 crore, while profits for the quarter grew by 2.97 per cent y-o-y. - Our Bureau
