V.S. Sampath new Chemicals Secretary

New Delhi, Jan. 21 The Government on Monday announced that Mr V. S. Sampath has taken over as the Secretary of Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals.

Mr Sampath, a 1973 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, was the Director-General of National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad, before taking up the new assignment.
