Mergers & Acquisitions Cambridge Tech buys Q-Soft Systems Our Bureau Hyderabad, Jan. 22 IT services provider Cambridge Technology Enterprises (CTE) announced on Tuesday it has entered into an acquisition agreement with Q-Soft Systems and Solutions, a privately-held Bangalore-based company, for an undisclosed amount. This is the third consecutive acquisition in this year for CTE, including ComCreation and Reilly & Associates. Incorporated in 1996, Q-Soft provides managed services to its clients using Oracle technology products, and Unix and Linux systems. Q-Soft has 200-plus people with presence in Mumbai and Chennai. This acquisition may bring in additional revenue in the enterprise segment for the current financial year and augment CTE’s service offering in the ERP segment. The combined entity will be closer to CTE’s vision of being a ‘one-stop shop’ for IT services for mid-sized enterprises. CTE will have a strong foot print in the India country by cross selling services and also increase its head count. The CEO of CTE, Mr Bhaskar Panigrahi, in a statement said, “Q-Soft’s relationships with customers and technical competency will enable CTE to add value and local support to customers.” The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Q-Soft, Mr Harshavardhan C.G., said, “this association gives us the twin advantage of offering more value to our customers”.
