SIB to vend Fidelity products

Kochi, Jan. 23

Fidelity Fund Management on Wednesday entered into an agreement with South Indian Bank for the distribution of its products. Dr V.A. Joseph, Chairman and CEO of SIB, and Ms Ashu Suyash, Managing Director and Country Head, Fidelity Fund Management, signed the agreement. Fidelity Fund Management's full range of mutual funds will now be available at all branches of SIB. Dr Joseph said that with the signing of the distribution agreement with Fidelity Fund Management, the bank has taken another step towards offering wealth management solution to meet the savings needs of its customers. Ms Suyash said that Fidelity Fund Management had launched its equity fund in March 2005 and has total assets under management of over Rs 11,000 crore as on December 31, 2007 and more than 1.5 million customer accounts. - Our Bureau
