Call rates close higher

Mumbai, Jan. 24

Call rates closed at 7.8-7.9 per cent, higher than the previous day’s close of 7.2-7.3 per cent. In the one-day auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility, the RBI received and accepted four reverse repo bids for Rs 3,415 crore and seven bids for Rs 3,070 crore repo bids. The CBLO market saw 654 trades aggregating Rs 46,715.3 crore in the 1.5-7.75 per cent rage.
