Thermax Q3 net rises 35%

Thermax Ltd, a player in the energy and environment management sector, has reported 53 per cent increase in total income at Rs 854 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal. The company had registered a total income of Rs 558 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.

The net profit for the third quarter stood at Rs 75 crore, up by 35 per cent. On a consolidated basis, year to date total income stood at Rs 2,495 crore (Rs 1,494 crore) and net profit was Rs 208 crore (Rs 132 crore), an increase of 67 per cent and 57 per cent respectively. The order book of the group as on December 31, 2007 stood at Rs 2,924 crore. - Our Bureau
