CCS Infotech opens multi-brand IT showroom

Chennai, Jan. 29 CCS Infotech plans to invest Rs 25 crore in its retail initiative that includes opening up 100 multi-brand IT shops across the country in the next two years.

The Chennai-based company that is into manufacturing and distribution of various IT products opened its first multi-brand IT showroom — CCS Zone — in Velachery, Chennai. The showroom showcases products like PCs, laptops, servers and computer and mobile accessories.

Mr Hasan Abdul Kader, Managing Director, CCS Infotech, said the company plans to have ten retail shops in Tamil Nadu in the next couple of months, and then move to the other southern States. CCS expects revenues of Rs 150 crore in 2008-09 with retail business contributing around 25 per cent.
