Prithvi Info Q3 net rises

Hyderabad, Jan. 30 IT services provider Prithvi Information Solutions has recorded an income of Rs 291.72 crore and a net profit of Rs 28.40 crore for the third-quarter ended December 31, 2007 as against income of Rs 199.34 crore and profit of Rs 23.36 crore.

This reflects an increase of 46.34 per cent in revenues and 21.36 per cent in profit over corresponding quarters.

Prithvi also announced the acquisition of Agadia Systems, a New Jersey-based company engaged in healthcare systems. During the first nine months of this fiscal, the revenue was Rs 794.21 crore, up 56 per cent from Rs 509.04 crore for the corresponding period last year. The profit after tax was Rs 69.60 crore.
