Karnataka Bank, Tata MF ink pact

Mangalore, Feb. 1 Karnataka Bank has entered into a pact with Tata Mutual Fund for distribution of the latter’s mutual fund products.

A bank release said here on Friday that Tata Mutual Fund signed a marketing agreement with Karnataka Bank on January 31. The memorandum of understanding was exchanged between Mr Ananthakrishna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, and Mr Abhay Nagar, Vice-President and Head Retail Sales, Tata Asset Management Ltd. The bank has been distributing the fund products of Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) Ltd for the last two years, the release added.
