Mumbai, Feb 4

Simplex Infrastructures Ltd has said that it had received a new order of Rs 287 crore from Qatalum Thermal Power Plant in Qatar. With this, the power vertical of the company accounts for Rs 1,252 crore or 14 per cent of the total order book of Rs 9,150 crore. The foreign segment comprises 27 per cent or Rs 2,428 crore of the order book, the company said. Mr Amitabh Das Mundhra, Director, Simplex Infrastructures Ltd, said, “We have bagged another prestigious project i n Qatar which strengthens our foothold in the overseas market. This project will boost our presence across major markets in the Middle East.”
