ICICI Pru partners Dept of Posts

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company announced on Tuesday its service tie-up with the Department of Posts to enable its policyholders gain access to a network of post-offices, particularly in the rural areas, for premium payment.

After Punjab, Gujarat is the second State where ICICI Prudential has launched this institutional tie-up for cash management , Ms Poonam Bhardwaj, Senior Vice-President, Customer Service and Operations, and Ms Vijaylaxmi Sheth, Post Master General, Gujarat Circle, told reporters here.

ICICI Prudential has planned a similar partnership with the DoPs in other States as well, she said. With these measures, customers would now be able to fill their application forms and policy documents in local languages.

ICICI Prudential has already announced similar institutional tie-ups with e-mitra, the e-governance initiative of the Rajasthan Government, APOnline of the Andhra Pradesh Government, South Indian Bank in Kerala, among others.
