Coimbatore, Feb. 13 Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Ltd’s board of directors at its meeting held on February 13 has decided to issue one crore Secured Redeemable Non- Convertible Debentures having the face value of Rs 100 each, at par, by way of private placement to LIC Mutual Fund (i.e. aggregating to Rs 100 crore) having a tenure of 364 days. Crompton Greaves Ltd said on Feb 13 that through the company’s 100 per cent subsidiary — CG International BV, Netherlands — it has acquired its Joint Venture partner’s 40 per cent voting share capital in PT Pauwels Trafo Asia, Indonesia, for a sum of $10.70 million. With this acquisition of shares, Crompton Greaves Ltd, through its subsidiaries, now owns 100 per cent of the voting share capital of the Indonesian company.

Era Infra Engineering Ltd has said that the company (Construction & Contract Division) has been awarded the structural works for new CRM complex at SAIL’s Bokaro steel plant valued at Rs 126.29 crore. The contract duration is 24 months.

JRG Securities Ltd has stated that its subsidiary JRG Fincorp Ltd has received the Certificate of Registration from Reserve Bank of India to commence / carry on the business of Non-Banking Financial Institution.

Maharashtra Seamless Ltd has said that in view of the current turmoil and prevailing volatile capital market conditions, the board of directors has decided to defer the holding of an EGM to consider and approve the allotment of warrants to the promoters of the company.

Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd has called for a meeting of the board of directors on February 19 to consider Scheme of Arrangement for de-merger of the New Drug Discovery Research Unit of the company into a separate entity.

Tata Chemicals Ltd has informed that it has completed the transaction of sale of 50 lakh shares of Tata Investment Corporation Ltd to Tata Sons Ltd at a price of Rs 599.35 on Wednesday.
