Pune Expo to focus on ‘eco-friendly’ initiatives

Pune, Feb. 14 The seventh edition of the Pune Expo will be a carbon neutral event, and focus on making business ventures more eco-friendly and socially acceptable. To be held at the Agriculture College grounds from February 28 to March 3, the theme of Pune Expo 2008 is ‘World of Eco-friendly Initiatives’.

The exhibition will showcase latest developments from various sectors such as automobiles and auto-components, engineering, education, plastics and polymers, agri-business and food processing, electronics and consumer durables and from service sectors such as banking, finance, insurance, infrastructure and real estate amongst others. In addition to panel discussions, seminars and film shows on the theme, an industrial directory compiled by the organisers — Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture — will be published.
