New CBDT member

New Delhi, March 10 The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has a new member in Mr Ajai Singh. He has been appointed as a member against the vacancy caused by the retirement of CBDT member, Mr A.J.Majumdar. Prior to this, Mr Singh, a 1972 batch IRS officer, was Director General (Systems) of CBDT at New Delhi. Official sources said the CBDT board is now in full strength. The portfolio for Mr Singh has not been decided as yet. He has already assumed charge as CBDT member.
